Update on the Leigh move and time schedule

As a follow-up to our last post regarding the move of the Leigh office, we would like to clarify this further by providing a timetable for our Leigh office during the weeks affected by the move. We'll keep this article updated whenever any changes occur.

While our main office will be moving to Magnum House on July 3rd, our drop-ins will be held on the ground floor of the Turnpike Centre in Leigh from July 10th onwards. You can also call our Adviceline on 0300 330 1153.

Our Leigh office is moving

From Monday 3rd July our Leigh office will reside in its new permanent location on the 2nd floor of Magnum House, 33 Lord St, Leigh. Our existing office on 6 The Avenue, Leigh will remain open until Friday 30th June when it will close for the day in order to facilitate the move.

Our other offices and outreaches will remain open during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Wigan closure and moving dates

On Thursday 18th May and Friday 19th May our Wigan office will be closed whilst it is being relocated within the Wigan Life Centre. It will reopen again on Monday 22nd May on the First Floor of the Wigan Life Centre.

Our other offices and outreaches will continue to remain open during this time.

Step Out for Stroke - Wigan 2017

The Stroke Association will be holding a sponsored walk in Wigan for stroke survivors and their friends and families to take part in. The activity will raise funds to help support stroke survivors and the people they love. The event will take place in Mesnes Park in Wigan at 10am on Tuesday 16th May 2017.

The Skype's the limit!

A network of advice giving agencies and Citizens Advice have launched a unique service that will allow people to gain support on a range of issues from wherever they choose.

The Wigan Advice Network’s (WAN) Skype Advice Service will provide residents living in the Wigan Borough with access to free advice from Citizens Advice Wigan Borough (CA) at a time and place convenient to them.
